Pradakshana ("the App") is a Hindu spiritual companion that helps you track temple visits, count pradakshanas, and keep a personal devotional journal. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how you can delete it.
The App does not require you to create an account or provide any personal details. Instead, a random device identifier (UUID) is generated and stored locally on your device the first time you open the App. This identifier is used solely to associate your data on our servers with your device.
We store the following data you choose to enter:
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, payment information, location, contacts, photos, or any other sensitive data.
All data is used exclusively to provide and improve the App's features. We do not sell, share, or disclose your data to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or analytics.
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Replit's infrastructure (United States). Replit's platform is protected by industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your device identifier is never linked to a real identity.
You can delete all your data at any time directly inside the App:
This permanently erases all visits, journal entries, and profile information from our servers. The action cannot be undone.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
